For the halfway point of the season The Forza Sports Car Series travels to the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe in France. Top speed heaven! It is obvious that this track puts a premium on top speed so it can be said with certainty that this track will display the highest sustained speeds drivers will see on any track during the season. With such a rich history of racing this track will undoubtedly stir excitement with many racers and fans alike. This race marks the halfway point of the season and thus the racers of the series begin to eyball the run to the championship. Some will look at their first half results and be content and others will not. Some will focus, get determined to improve and try to make a run if not for the Championship but to snag that points position in front of them. The second half is where Champions are made! Where will you be at the end?

The last qual session will run at 1:00pm Sunday. Anyone who does not qualify will be subject to Rule 4.1E

What will be the pit window?

ok its to late for me to qualify now, i have to go to the gym, pack my bags, get up early for school and catch a flight tomorrow right after class. but i will be back for the race. so Pred please make a note ill be there for sure. ill just make sure and see whos hosting the last room when it gets close.

I doubt a win is on the table just a great result

this race will no doubt be painful for me lol. just going to try to get into a groove and finish the race in one piece.

Not sure if I will be able to make this race. I am having a hell of a time getting a handle on the GT500, even with Sainted's help. I think it is just not working with my driving style. I can rip off a single fast lap, but the rest of the time, I am fighting it for control.

Are you allowed to change cars if you haven't raced it yet? I just want to make sure I am not a rolling chicane.

sorry to hear that but you are allowed to change your car once in a season but the admin (Pred) give you a choice of three cars that you have to choose one of them (could be anything from an Aston Martin to a Volvo)

I would say though try your car out on a proper circuit (one with more corners and make sure you have full downforce on and see how you cope with your car then decide whether to change or not)

If i can get my disc to work again tonight we can get on and do some laps (not on lemans i think i need a break from that track xD) and we can try and get it tuned right. I was only able to hit about a 2:14.0xx in it at Sebring when i tuned it up, and even then getting below 14.5 there was a battle and a half lol. It may have been a weak choice in the fact that you have little to no room for PI improvements due to the massive HP at base, but you can make it work. Id say that a car in GTC should have at least 6.5 handling at base PI anything below that and youre in a missile lmao. Will you be on around 8:30pm EST?
